Hemlunda Badplats is a kitesurfing spot located in Norrbotten County, in northern Sweden, on the coast of the Gulf of Bothnia. The spot is near Pitea. The Gulf of Bothnia offers a water area with southerly, southwesterly and easterly winds. The beach (badplats) provides easy access to the water. In winter, the gulf freezes and allows snowkiting. Hemlunda is a local spot in northern Sweden, suitable for intermediate riders. Arctic winter conditions offer unique snowkite opportunities.
