Kilpisjärvi is a snowkite spot located in Finnish Lapland at 478 m altitude, in the extreme northwest of Finland, at the crossroads of the borders with Sweden and Norway. The frozen lake and surrounding plateaus offer exceptional conditions for landkite. Strong and consistent winds on this exposed site. Extreme arctic conditions reserved for experts. Season from November to May thanks to the altitude and latitude. One of the best snowkite sites in Scandinavia.
