Rangitoto Lighthouse is a spot located on the volcanic island of Rangitoto, in the Hauraki Gulf. This spot offers an open water area with choppy conditions and currents around the island. NE and SW winds work here. The spot is reserved for advanced riders due to the isolation, currents around the island, and lack of infrastructure. Access by boat only. The island is a conservation park with a unique pohutukawa forest.
