Chic's Beach is a popular kitesurfing spot on the south shore of the Chesapeake Bay, in the Chesapeake Beach neighborhood of Virginia Beach. This north-facing beach offers good fetch into the bay and flat water to moderate chop conditions. It's one of the most accessible and popular bay spots with the Virginia Beach kite community. The residential beach offers a relaxed setting with nearby bars and restaurants. Works very well in north and northeast winds.

Jellyfish (sea nettles) very abundant in summer — wetsuit recommended even in warm weather. Tidal currents. Proximity to Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel — do not approach. Boat traffic in the bay. Thunderstorms possible in summer.
