Arillas Beach is a spot on Corfu's northwest coast, just south of Agios Stefanos Avliotes. This west/northwest-facing sandy beach is directly exposed to the Maestro. The bay is slightly more sheltered than its northern neighbor due to the coastline configuration, offering somewhat less challenging conditions. The setting is beautiful with cliffs and turquoise water.
Rideable May to September with the Maestro. Launch from the sandy beach. Riding area in Arillas bay. In moderate wind (12-18 knots), ideal conditions for intermediates. Some restaurants and bars on the beach. Option to ride downwind between Arillas and Agios Stefanos.
Open water with chop and waves in Maestro. Gradually deepening sandy bottom. Waves generally 0.5-1.5m, smaller than at Agios Stefanos thanks to the slightly more sheltered orientation. Crystal clear and warm water in summer.
