Björkäng is a kitesurfing spot located on the west coast of Sweden in Halland County, near Varberg. The spot faces the Kattegat with good exposure to winds from south to northwest. The beach offers easy water access and enough space for rigging. The body of water is open and conditions are typical of the Halland coast with possible chop in strong winds. The spot is suitable for intermediate and advanced riders. Located near the famous Apelviken spot, Björkäng offers an interesting alternative when conditions or crowds at Apelviken are not ideal. The prevailing southwest and west winds provide good sailing conditions.
