Port Elgin is a small coastal town on the east shore of Lake Huron, south of the Bruce Peninsula. The spot faces west with a nice sandy beach and marina. Close to the Bruce Nuclear Power Plant (the world's largest), visible to the south. Popular summer destination with a small Ontario town atmosphere.
Lake Huron fresh water. Flat to choppy. Sandy bottom. 200+ km fetch from the west. Waves in strong wind. Warm water in summer (18-22°C). Spacious riding area.
