Norra Gattet is a kitesurfing spot located on the north coast of Gotland Island, in the Baltic Sea. This spot offers a preserved natural setting with shallow waters ideal for kitesurfing and wingfoil. The body of water is relatively sheltered thanks to the coastline configuration, allowing for calmer conditions than on the west coast of the island. The prevailing south and southwest winds offer favorable side-shore to side-onshore conditions for riding. As Gotland is an island in the middle of the Baltic, wind conditions are often more consistent than on mainland Sweden. The spot is suitable for intermediate riders thanks to its flat water and sandy bottom.
