Baleshare est une grande plage de sable blanc sur la côte ouest de la petite île de Baleshare, reliée à North Uist par une chaussée. Exposée ouest face à l'Atlantique, cette plage offre d'excellentes conditions de vent. Plan d'eau peu profond à marée basse, vagues à marée haute.
