Gunn Club is a kitesurfing spot in the Cole Harbour / Eastern Passage area, east of Halifax. The spot takes its name from a former shooting club nearby. Located in the Cole Harbour estuary, it offers flat water riding at high tide, on shallow, sheltered waters. The spot is favoured by Halifax kitesurfers for its accessible conditions and proximity to the city. Tide-dependent riding.

Cole Harbour estuary — flat, shallow water at high tide. Sandy/muddy bottom. Rideable mainly around high tide (at low tide, mudflats exposed). Water sheltered from Atlantic swell. Cold water (8-16°C). Ideal conditions for freestyle and progression.
Rideable only at high tide — consult tide tables. Tidal currents in the estuary. Muddy bottom at low tide that can trap. Cold water. Proximity to residential areas — respect residents and do not fly over properties.
