This Kattegat-side spot works in east to northeast winds (onshore). For west to northwest winds, Skagen Nordstrand (North Sea side) is more suitable. The Skagen peninsula allows finding a spot for almost any wind direction by moving from one side to the other.
Open sea conditions. Choppy to wavy water depending on wind direction. Sandy beach. Strong currents where the two seas meet at Grenen (the extreme tip). Good wave potential in east to northeast winds.
