Maccagno is a spot on Lake Maggiore located on the eastern (Lombardy) shore, in the northern part of the lake. The village offers access to the lake with typical Lake Maggiore thermal wind conditions. The northerly wind in the morning and the southerly thermal in the afternoon create consistent conditions. The northern part of the lake is narrower, amplifying the winds.
