Peregian Beach is a kitesurf spot located on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, between Noosa and Coolum Beach. This laid-back seaside village offers a long sandy beach with excellent kitesurfing conditions thanks to the consistent southeast trade winds. The dominant southeast wind blows side-shore along this east-northeast facing beach. Waves are generally moderate with good shape for wave riding. The sandy bottom makes the spot relatively safe. Water temperature is pleasant year-round, ranging from 20°C to 27°C. The best kitesurfing season runs from October to March. The village of Peregian offers cafes, restaurants and amenities within walking distance of the beach. The spot is suitable for intermediate and advanced riders. Noosa National Park to the north provides a beautiful natural setting. Parking available near the beach.
