Ķegums is a town on the Daugava River, about 60 km south-east of Riga in Latvia. The kitesurfing spot is on the Ķegums Reservoir, created by the hydroelectric dam.

The reservoir offers a freshwater body with flat water conditions. The surface is relatively wide for riding. North-west and south-east winds work best along the reservoir axis.

Ķegums is accessible from Riga in about 1 hour. The season runs from May to October. The spot suits intermediate riders.
