Silverdale - Dyes Inlet is a kitesurfing spot in a narrow arm of Puget Sound, on the Kitsap Peninsula, near Silverdale and Bremerton. Dyes Inlet is a sheltered and shallow body of water, offering calm conditions. The spot works with south to southwest winds. Close to Bremerton Naval Base and the town of Silverdale with all services. Tides strongly influence this narrow body of water.
Dyes Inlet with cold saltwater (8-14°C/46-57°F). A 4/3 to 5/3mm wetsuit. Flat water to light chop in this sheltered inlet. Shallow at low tide. Muddy to sandy bottom. Moderate tidal currents at the inlet entrance.
