Silverdale - Dyes Inlet is a kitesurfing spot in a narrow arm of Puget Sound, on the Kitsap Peninsula, near Silverdale and Bremerton. Dyes Inlet is a sheltered and shallow body of water, offering calm conditions. The spot works with south to southwest winds. Close to Bremerton Naval Base and the town of Silverdale with all services. Tides strongly influence this narrow body of water.

Cold water — hypothermia. Low tide reducing rideable area. Military maritime traffic from Bremerton Naval Base (aircraft carriers, submarines). Currents at the inlet entrance. Muddy bottom.
