Overview

Plage d'Auphelle is a kitesurf spot on a mountain reservoir lake in the Creuse/Corrèze region of Nouvelle-Aquitaine, at 648m altitude — an inland freshwater lake in the Massif Central foothills. The dominant winds at this elevated site are from the South-West to North-West, typical for the Massif Central.

Freshwater lake with no tidal constraints. An original mountain lake kitesurf spot far from the coast. Wind conditions can be stronger and more variable at altitude. A unique spot for riders in the inland Nouvelle-Aquitaine region.
