Thompson's Point is a spot on a point extending into Lake Champlain, south of Burlington in the town of Charlotte. This point offers wind exposure from multiple sides and good lake access. The rural setting with Adirondack views is typical of Lake Champlain's east shore.

Rocks along the point and in water. Boat traffic in summer. Summer thunderstorms — monitor weather. Cold water in spring and fall. Wind can be reinforced by the point effect.
