Adelsö is a kitesurf spot located on Adelsö Island, in Lake Mälaren, west of Stockholm. This spot offers a freshwater body of water with generally calm conditions. The island is known for its Viking heritage and preserved landscapes. Southwest to westerly winds are the most favourable for riding. The water is shallow in places, which makes learning easier. Access is by ferry from Munsö.
