OK Kiteboarder is a kitesurf spot in eastern Oklahoma, near Lake Eufaula, the state's largest lake. This spot in the "Green Country" region offers consistent south winds and a greener setting than western Oklahoma. Large lake with excellent fetch. Less known area for kiting but offering excellent conditions. Season from April to November.
Freshwater with variable visibility. Water temperature from 5°C in winter to 28°C in summer. Large lake with good fetch. Muddy bottom. Moderate to strong chop in south winds. Shorty in summer, 4/3 wetsuit in spring/fall.

TORNADOES: monitor weather constantly. Violent thunderstorms with lightning and hail April to June. Large lake: changing conditions. Fishing boat traffic. Water moccasin snakes frequent in eastern Oklahoma. Submerged debris (stumps).
