West Lake is an inland lake in northern Maine at 123m elevation. This lake offers flat water for kitesurfing and wingfoil in a wild environment typical of rural Maine. The area is covered with dense forests with little development.
Flat lake water with moderate chop in strong winds. Freshwater warmer than the ocean in summer but cold in spring and fall. No tide or significant current. Variable bottom depending on area.
