Front Beach (Bai Truoc) is on the west side of the Vung Tau peninsula in Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province. The beach faces west-northwest toward the Saigon River estuary and is more sheltered than Back Beach.

This spot is for intermediate riders. The beach is smaller and more urban than Back Beach. Wind conditions are less consistent as the west-facing orientation misses much of the NE monsoon. Best on days with strong NE winds that wrap around the peninsula. Watch for boat traffic in the busy shipping channel.
