Petit-Rocher is a kitesurfing spot located on the north coast of New Brunswick, in the Bay of Chaleur. This village offers access to a coastal body of water with interesting wind conditions thanks to the exposure of the Bay of Chaleur. The Bay of Chaleur is renowned for its relatively warm waters in summer and regular winds. The dominant southwest and west winds are the most favorable, with occasional northeast winds. The body of water is moderately sheltered by the bay. The kitesurfing season runs from June to September. This spot is suitable for intermediate riders. The region offers a magnificent natural setting with the Gaspe mountains visible across the bay.
