Bothwell Beach is a kitesurfing spot located on the east coast of Prince Edward Island, near Souris. This beach offers a peaceful setting with fine sand and relatively warm waters in summer, typical of the north coast of the Northumberland Strait. The spot is exposed to dominant southwest and west winds, with also good conditions in northeast wind. Tides influence the sailing area and water depth. The beach is quite open, allowing easy kite launching and landing. The sailing season runs from June to September. This spot is suitable for intermediate riders due to tidal currents and possible chop.
