Cedar Creek Landing is a spot on Cedar Creek Reservoir, a large 33,750-acre lake southeast of Dallas, in Henderson County. It's one of the largest lakes in northeast Texas, offering impressive fetch and wide-open water expanses. The lake is surrounded by pine and oak forests typical of East Texas. Cedar Creek Landing provides lake access for riders in the eastern DFW metroplex area, with reliable wind conditions.

Very large freshwater body with exceptional fetch. Chop can become significant in strong winds due to the large lake size. Murky water with a brownish tint typical of East Texas lakes. Variable depth. Submerged tree stumps frequent in many areas. Conditions range from flat water to sustained chop.
Very numerous submerged tree stumps — major hazard on this lake. Large size makes returning to shore difficult if wind drops. Severe thunderstorms possible in spring and summer. Boat traffic on weekends. Lake level can vary. Relatively remote — riding with a partner recommended.
