Plage du Pouldu is a 1.4km sandy beach in Santec, between the famous Dossen beach and Perharidy peninsula. Open to the west, it hosts surfing, kitesurfing, funboard and landkiting, with designated practice zones marked on the beach. Municipal campsite adjacent. At low tide, Île de Sieck becomes accessible on foot — an unmissable walk. Lifeguarded in summer.
Kitesurf29 (kitesurf29.fr) — kitesurf association for the Santec/Dossen area. École de Kitesurf Bretagne (ecolekitesurfbretagne.com) — itinerant school covering Baie de Morlaix and Finistère.
Access: from Roscoff or Saint-Pol-de-Léon, direction Santec. Parking rue des Dentelles or rue des Cormorans. Municipal campsite on the beachfront. Neighbouring spot: Le Dossen (500m east) — complementary beaches by orientation. Kitesurf29 (kitesurf29.fr) — Dossen/Santec sector association.

Open all year round
Roch Tréas rock visible to the left of the beach — hazard for swimmers and riders. Marked zones mandatory in summer — respect kite/surf zones. Seaweed after storms (kite relaunch risk). Large tidal range: beach width varies significantly with tide. Never ride alone.
West-southwest exposure to open sea. The beach is sheltered from south winds by the land. Favourable arc: NW/W/SW. NW can be disrupted by Île de Sieck to the left of the spot (similar to Dossen). West swell reaches the beach well. Waves possible in good swell. Seaweed accumulations after storms.
