Overview

Bachmans Beach is a spot in the magnificent Mahone Bay region on Nova Scotia's south coast, famous for its three iconic churches and picturesque village. Mahone Bay offers semi-protected waters dotted with numerous islands (including the famous Oak Island). The spot benefits from partial island protection while remaining exposed to south winds. Exceptional setting in one of Canada's most beautiful maritime regions.

Mahone Bay semi-protected by islands. Moderate chop. Variable bottom — sandy, rocky and seagrass beds. Semi-diurnal tides. Cold Atlantic water (8-16°C). Numerous islands creating wind corridors and varied sheltered areas.
