Austin Lake is a kitesurf spot located on an inland lake near Kalamazoo, in southwestern Michigan. This residential lake offers a water body suited for kitesurfing and wingfoiling in a peaceful setting. The Kalamazoo/Portage area has numerous inland lakes offering flat water alternatives. The lake provides calm and predictable conditions for progression and freeride.

Inland water body offering flat water conditions with light chop in sustained winds. Moderately sized lake. Sandy and muddy bottom. Water warms well in summer, allowing riding in a shorty from June to September. Calm conditions suited for freeride and freestyle.
