Bayswater is a spot on St. Margarets Bay, on Nova Scotia's south coast, about 45 minutes southwest of Halifax. St. Margarets Bay offers semi-protected waters with a good balance between shelter and wind exposure. The spot benefits from south and southwest winds funneling up the bay. Picturesque coastal setting with the islands and fishing villages typical of the Nova Scotian South Shore.
Semi-protected Atlantic coast bay. Moderate chop, less swell than exposed beaches. Sandy and rocky bottom in places. Semi-diurnal tides with moderate range. Cold Atlantic water (8-16°C). Sufficient riding space in the bay.
