Germignaga is a spot located on Lake Maggiore (Lago Maggiore), in the province of Varese. Lake Maggiore, Italy's second largest lake, offers thermal wind conditions in an alpine setting shared between Italy and Switzerland. The spot benefits from thermal winds similar to the other large pre-Alpine lakes. The Inverna (north wind) blows in the morning and the southerly thermal in the afternoon. The lake is wider than Lake Como, creating a greater fetch.
