Yaroomba is a kitesurf spot located on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, between Coolum Beach and Point Arkwright. This relatively quiet beach offers a less crowded alternative to the popular Sunshine Coast spots while benefiting from the same reliable wind conditions. Southeast trade winds blow regularly along this section of coast, creating ideal side-shore conditions for kitesurfing. Waves are generally moderate with a sandy bottom. The Point Arkwright headland to the south offers some protection and creates varied conditions depending on the exact wind direction. The best season is from October to March. The spot is suitable for intermediate and advanced riders. The beach is less patrolled than the main beaches, it is recommended to ride with a buddy. Parking available in nearby residential streets.
