Thirteenth Beach is a very popular kitesurf spot located between Barwon Heads and Torquay, on the Surf Coast of Victoria. This long sandy beach is one of the most popular kitesurf spots in the Geelong and Surf Coast region, offering excellent wave conditions and unlimited space to ride. The dominant southwest to west winds blow side-shore to side-onshore on this south-southeast facing beach, creating ideal conditions for wave kitesurfing. The spot benefits from consistent swell and quality waves. It is a very popular spot for experienced kitesurfers from Melbourne and Geelong who come for wave riding. Access is via several paths from the coastal road. Parking is at the top of the dunes with a walk to reach the beach. Watch out for powerful rip currents and surfers sharing the waves. The spot can be very crowded on summer weekends.
