Gregoire Lake (also called Lac Grégoire) is a lake near Fort McMurray, in northern Alberta, at 476 m altitude. Gregoire Lake Provincial Park provides developed access to this boreal forest lake.
Gregoire Lake is a medium-sized lake in the oil sands region. The lake is surrounded by dense boreal forest. Northwest and south prairie winds work well. The provincial park offers beach, camping, and services. One of the few accessible kitesurfing spots in the Fort McMurray area. Short season from June to September.

Boreal fresh water. Temperature of 17-21°C in summer. Sandy to muddy bottom. Moderate chop. The lake offers a good-sized water body for sailing. Provincial park beach for launching.
Isolated northern region — limited services. Short season. Violent summer thunderstorms. Black bears in boreal forest. Very abundant mosquitoes and black flies in June-July. Forest fires possible in the region (check advisories).
