Kingsport Beach

Overview

Kingsport Beach is a spot on the Minas Basin in the Bay of Fundy, in picturesque Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia. The Minas Basin is known for its spectacular tides (12-14 m tidal range). Kingsport Beach offers a vast sandy foreshore exposed at low tide, and a navigable water body at high tide. Thermal winds from the Annapolis Valley complement synoptic winds for often favourable conditions. Spectacular view of Cape Blomidon.
