Plawniowice is a lake located in Upper Silesia, near Gliwice. It is a local kitesurfing spot for riders from the Silesian agglomeration, an alternative to the nearby Dzierzno Duze. The body of water is modest in size but offers good flat water conditions. The depth is moderate and the bottom is sandy. It is an easily accessible spot from the A4 motorway. The lake works with winds from most directions. West winds are the most frequent. A popular weekend spot for riders from Gliwice and Zabrze.
