Uroa Beach is a kitesurfing spot located on the east coast of Zanzibar, Tanzania. This beach faces east onto the Indian Ocean and benefits from the southeast trade winds during the Kusi season (June to October). The coral reef creates a reef flat that is exposed at low tide, offering flat water conditions for kitesurfing. The tide is essential: at low tide, the water retreats far and the flat reef becomes an ideal playground. Suited to beginners and intermediates.
