Bangahmuhri is located on the west coast of South Korea in Gyeonggi-do, near the Sihwa area. This Yellow Sea-facing spot catches NW and W winds well during the cooler months. The coastal area features the characteristic massive tidal range of Korea's west coast.

The spot is known in the local kite community as an accessible west coast option near Seoul. Mud flats are exposed at low tide, so sessions must be planned carefully around the tide schedule. Sandy bottom with flat water conditions at high tide.
