Banana River Park is a kitesurfing spot located on the Banana River Lagoon, just north of the famous 520 Slick. This park offers alternative access to the same shallow flat water lagoon that makes the Space Coast famous. Conditions are identical to the 520 Slick — flat, shallow and warm water. The park offers good launching space and parking. It's an excellent choice when the 520 Slick is too crowded.

Same water body as 520 Slick — Banana River Lagoon, flat water, sandy and seagrass bottom, depth of 1-3 feet. All wind directions work. The water is warm and brackish. Immense riding space.
Same precautions as 520 Slick: stingrays, manatees (protected species), Kennedy Space Center restriction zones. Mosquitoes in summer. Sun protection.
