Kawe Beach is a kitesurfing spot located in the northern suburbs of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. This urban beach faces east onto the Indian Ocean and benefits from the southeast trade winds during the Kusi season (June to October). The spot is suited to intermediate riders with oceanic conditions in an urban beach environment. The tide strongly influences sailing conditions with a significant tidal range typical of the Tanzanian coast.
