Bordubet is a spot located in a sheltered bay on the north shore of the Gulf of Gökova, between Bodrum and Datça (Muğla province, Turkey). The east-west oriented gulf channels the Meltem wind — a classic Aegean summer thermal wind — blowing predominantly from the west to north-west.
Wind typically picks up around 11am–12pm, builds steadily to 18–25 knots by mid-afternoon, then eases around 5–6pm. Consistent and predictable conditions, ideal for intermediate riders.

Dominant wind: Meltem (Etesian wind), channeled by the Gulf of Gökova. Main direction: W to WNW. NW is also common depending on the corridor alignment.
The Meltem kicks in around 11am, peaks at 18–25 knots in the afternoon, and dies down in the evening. Very regular diurnal thermal in summer — little to no wind in the mornings and at night.
