North Finistère: very large tidal range (>8m) — strong offshore currents, especially further out. Seaweed (goémon) common — line-catching risk. A few rocky reefs visible and manageable. Small gravel section toward the NE and islets that can become hazards on a rising tide — they are visible in the clear water. Never ride alone. Summer: horses authorised on 2km of beach — share the space.
Works W to NE — wide favourable arc. Consistent Celtic Sea depression winds (200+ days/year). Summer: light 8-15kt — foil and large kites recommended July-August. Spring NE thermal: some excellent days. Strong tidal range (>8m): offshore currents increase further out. Goémon (seaweed) can catch lines.
