Plage des Chevrets (Saint-Coulomb) is a magnificent beach located at the hamlet of Guimorais, north of the Havre du Lupin, between Saint-Malo (Rothéneuf) and Cancale. Exceptional natural setting: Île Besnard connected to Pointe du Meinga by a vast dune beach (Conservatoire du Littoral, Natura 2000). View over the Petit and Grand Chevret islets. Large campsite directly on the beach. Good N/NE wind spot, sheltered from western swell.
Emeraude Kite (emeraudekite.com) — reference association for the Côte d'Émeraude. EVORIDE (evoride.fr) — itinerant school active in the Saint-Malo/Cancale sector.
From Rothéneuf: take the D201 toward Cancale. Parking at the Guimorais campsite or near the beach. Summer: supervised beach, equipment for reduced mobility. N/NE-facing beach, naturally sheltered from west swell by the Pointe du Meinga.
Open all year round
Intermediate
N/NE-facing beach, ideal for N to NE winds (side-shore). Naturally sheltered from western swell by Pointe du Meinga. Used as a fallback when Sillon or Lancieux are overcrowded. Check Emeraude Kite for current restrictions.
Naturist zone tolerated on the right side of the beach (Pointe du Meinga) — check for municipal orders. Dogs: allowed outside summer season or after 8pm. Summer surveillance in place. Îlots du Petit and Grand Chevret accessible on foot at low tide — beware of the incoming tide.
