Khanto Lake is a kitesurfing spot near the city of Nyagan, in Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug (Yugra), Western Siberia. This freshwater lake is used by local kitesurfers.
The lake offers a calm and open water body. Shores are accessible and allow kite launching. The environment is typically Siberian with surrounding taiga forest.
Season is short, June to early September, due to continental climate. Water warms up in summer (14-20°C). Winds are variable. Wetsuit recommended. Spot suited for beginners and intermediates.
