Gâvres is a kitesurf spot on the Gâvres peninsula (Morbihan, Brittany). The village of Gâvres sits at the tip of a narrow sandy peninsula sheltering the port of Lorient. The outer Atlantic shore offers direct exposure to westerly winds with good swell, while the inner bay side offers flatter water.
