Foss Lake is a kitesurf spot on Foss Reservoir in western Oklahoma. This 36 km² lake offers excellent fetch and powerful, consistent plain winds. Foss State Park features beaches, boat ramps, and camping. Isolated and uncrowded spot with plenty of space. Winds are often stronger in western Oklahoma. Season from April to November.
Freshwater with variable visibility. Water temperature from 5°C in winter to 28°C in summer. Large lake with excellent fetch. Muddy to sandy bottom. Moderate to strong chop. Variable lake level. Shorty in summer, 4/3 wetsuit in spring/fall.

TORNADOES: monitor weather constantly. Violent supercell thunderstorms April to June. Very powerful plain winds. Large lake: rapidly changing conditions. Isolation: rescue services distant. Rattlesnakes and water moccasins.
