Caleta Olivia is a kitesurfing spot located on the Atlantic coast of Patagonia, in the province of Santa Cruz. This port town offers beaches exposed to the powerful Patagonian winds on the Atlantic Ocean. Prevailing winds blow from the west and southwest, with very strong intensities typical of southern Patagonia (25-40 knots). The spot offers ocean conditions with waves. The environment is austere and windy. Reserved for expert riders due to extreme wind conditions.
