Point Richards is a kitesurfing spot located in Portarlington, on the north coast of the Bellarine Peninsula, in Victoria. This spot offers a water body in Port Phillip Bay with relatively calm conditions, suitable for beginners and intermediate riders. The prevailing southwest to west winds blow side-shore on this point which benefits from good exposure in the bay. The water body is flat to slightly choppy, without significant waves. Summer thermal breezes offer regular sessions. Parking is available near the Point Richards lighthouse. The area is popular with fishermen and walkers. Beware of rocks around the point and boats in the bay.
