Elder Island is a kitesurf spot located in the Great South Bay, on Long Island's south shore. This protected body of water offers flat water conditions ideal for learning and progression. The island provides a preserved natural setting in the middle of the bay.
Flat and protected body of water in the Great South Bay. Shallow water with sandy bottom. Very little chop thanks to the barrier island protection to the south. Light to moderate tidal currents.
