Fakse Ladeplads is a harbour town on the east coast of Sjælland, facing east into Faxe Bay (Faxe Bugt), with views of Møn island. Forest stretches to the sea behind a narrow sandy beach. Easterly winds provide the best onshore conditions with significant fetch across the Baltic.
