Rumoi is a kitesurfing spot on the northwest coast of Hokkaido, on the Sea of Japan. This spot offers powerful west to northwest wind conditions, reinforced by its northern position.

The water is exposed to the Sea of Japan. Tides are present. Suited for advanced riders due to potentially very strong winds and cold water.
