De Friz Spit (Kosa Defriza) is one of the most renowned kitesurfing spots in the Vladivostok area, located on the De Friz peninsula in Amursky Bay. The spot sits on a sandy spit extending into the sea, offering ideal conditions for kitesurfing.

The water body is relatively flat and shallow on the inner bay side, making it an excellent learning ground. On the open sea side, conditions are more challenging with chop. The sandy beach allows easy kite launching.

Prevailing winds blow from the south and southwest in summer, creating ideal side-shore to side-onshore conditions. The kite season runs from May to October. Water stays cool (14-22°C), wetsuit required.
